As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  The Benton, IL. American Legion Post 280 and VFW Post 2671 is a combined Post where veterans who served honorably, during all eras, can join with their brothers and sisters in arms to strengthen our community. Regardless if you served during times of peace or war, overseas or abroad, we have a place for you.  Every Sunday is Karaoke with Rockin' Roy from 6-10pm. Bloody Mary's are $2. Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday is Domestic Beer 3 for $5 and Nattys 3 for $4 during the day shift from 9am to 5pm. Wednesday Happy Hour is from 6 to 9pm. Auxiliary 50/50 Drawing at 7:25pm and Queen of Hearts Drawing at 7:30pm. The Auxiliary will also be selling food on Wednesday nights beginning at 5pm. Thursday is Wing Night starting at 5pm. Extreme Bingo begins at 6:30pm. Come out for your chance to win cash or prizes! On August 10th a Poker Run will be arriving at our Post around 1:30pm, we are their 2nd stop. On August 17th the Band of Brothers run will arrive at our Post around 2pm.
